The winding, reverential and low impact design of the Petra winery, in keeping with the entire process from the vine to the bottle, is the work of the architect, Mario Botta, and an imposing work of art, located in the very heart of the Maremma.

Over the hill, there are the aging galleries and, beyond the space reserved to Slavonian oak barrels, there is a tunnel that penetrates deeply and arrives in front of a massive rock wall: a connection between Petra and Metalliferous Hills.

The winery offers guests at The Sense Resort a choice of three types of experiences:
PETRA CLASSIC TASTING SESSION
A tour lasting one and a half hours which includes the visit of the vineyards and winery, designed by Mario Botta, plus the final tasting of three wines;
UNDER THE TUSCAN SUN TASTING SESSION
A two-hour visit of the vineyards and winery with the final tasting of four wines, accompanied by a sample selection of typical Tuscan products;
PETRA EXPERIENCE TASTING SESSION
To get a true in-depth experience, the Petra winery offers a three-hour visit which, in addition to the visit of the vineyards and cellar with the tasting of four wines, also includes a final lunch with homemade products.
