AIR-CONDITIONING: Do the rooms have air conditioning?

Yes, all the rooms have air conditioning.

AMENITIES: What services are included in the reservation?

At The Sense Experience Resort, you have a unique experience, immersed in nature and in the charm of the unexplored Maremma.

When you book a stay, you’ll be entitled to access to our private beach with an umbrella, two sunbeds and a director’s chair. A car parking space is included with each room, as well as access to our fantastic pool, heated until June 15 and from September 10.

You can also book all the experiences we offer with the help of our Experience Manager, who will suggest the best choice for you among a wide range of activities inside and outside the structure.

Some Experiences will be carried out directly inside the Resort, following a weekly schedule. It will be possible to take advantage of free courses for morning exercise classes, Pilates, Water fitness in the sea and Acquagymin, organised on a weekly basis.

It is also possible to book classes, such as Yoga Classes and tennis lessons, which are not included in the room rate.

The WIFI is free and available both in communal areas and in the rooms.

BABYSITTING: Is there a babysitting service?

Yes, on request and for a fee, it is possible to book a babysitting service.

BEACH: Does the Resort have a private beach?

Yes, the hotel has a private beach.

BEACH PET POLICY: Can pets be taken on the beach?

A beach umbrella will be reserved on the beach near the beautiful Bau Beach where the pup can have fun and swim.
Under the umbrella, it is important that the dog is kept on a leash.

BEACH SERVICE: Is beach service included? If yes, what equipment is included?

Beach service is included in all room types and includes: 1 beach umbrella, 2 sunbeds and a director’s chair.

BEACH TOWELS: Are pool and beach towels provided? What is the cost?

Yes, beach towels are provided free of charge.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 2 pm and check-out by 11 am.

EARLY-LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT: Can I reserve a check-in or check-out slot outside of these hours?

Yes, it is possible to book check-ins or check-outs outside of scheduled times upon request. In some cases, an additional fee may be charged.

DISABLED: Do you have rooms for disabled guests?

Yes, the Resort has some rooms for people with disabilities. The report was prepared for us by the non-profit association “Handy Superabile”, within the scope of the project “Follonica SuperaAbile”.

EXCURSIONS: Do you organise tours and excursions?

Yes, the hotel has an “Experience Manager” and a service reserved exclusively for tours and excursions.

FROM THE AIRPORT: Which is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is Pisa airport which is 130km away, while Rome airport is 190km away.

FROM THE CENTRE: Is the hotel far from the centre?

The Resort is located at the beginning of the promenade of Follonica and you can reach the centre on foot, via the pedestrian area. The distance is about 3 km.

FROM THE HIGHWAY: Which is the nearest highway exit to the hotel?

To reach the hotel by car, from Milan, the nearest exit is Rosignano, then take the SS1 Aurelia and exit at Follonica Nord. From Rome take the A12 to Civitavecchia, then take the SS1 and exit at Follonica Nord.

FROM THE TRAIN STATION: How can I reach your hotel from the train station?

The nearest railway station is Follonica and is 4 km away

PARKING: Is there a garage or parking available? How much does it cost?

The Resort has free, unattended, open parking with valet service.

PET POLICY: Is it possible to bring pets with you? What size? Is there an additional cost?

Yes, the Hotel accepts small animals, up to a maximum of 18 kg. The cost is €15 per day and €35 for final cleaning.

Pets are not allowed in the pool solarium and the restaurant, but they can access the bars and our equipped island area.

TRANSFER SERVICE: Is it possible to organise a transfer service to the airport or to the station? How much does it cost?

The hotel organises a transfer service to and from the airport on request. Costs vary depending on the number of people and the time of day (day or night).
